Amazon, proud of its Kindle Fire and Appstore, has issued a press release touting some of it successes from the last year or so. As many of you know, Amazon is set to debut a new Kindle Fire at an event on September 6. As various pieces fall into place, Amazon wants everyone to know just how profitable and powerful its products and services have become.
According to Amazon, the number of developers building apps for the Appstore has more than doubled since last November. What’s more, apps designed for the Kindle Fire customers has tripled. Developers are also making plenty of bank, thanks to in-app purchases that generate, on average, more than double paid app transactions.
